When I first started working with Hedda, I was carrying around a lot of extra middle-age, post-menopausal weight. My hormones were off balance, my BMI was too high, and my overall energy & strength were very low. My mobility & stability were not great either. In one year she got me get back into shape and to a level of strength I haven't felt since my early 30s. I have lost 42 pounds, improved my lean body mass and even improved my bone density. I feel better, look better and sleep better. I saw results in just a couple months and with my commitment of 3 sessions a week (minus vacation and sick weeks), my health, body shape and strength greatly improved. My strength training sessions + improved diet also lowered my cholesterol and helped re-balance my hormones. I highly recommend working with Hedda. She is supportive, encourages you, and guides you but isn't a drill sergeant. She will work with you no matter your mood, your schedule, your goals.

Hedda’s positivity and excitement for training is what kept me motivated and looking forward to working with her each week. I decided to seek out a trainer a little more than a year ago to learn how to properly build my strength. I received lessons from 3 other trainers and none were as thorough and dedicated to my progress as Hedda. I am moving weights now that I never would have thought possible in the span of 5 months. I blew past all my expectations. For one, I went from laughably struggling to bench press 65lbs to doing 3 clean sets at 105lbs, and bench pressing isn't even central to my routine. Both Hedda's guidance within sessions and her instructions for use outside of sessions have made these results possible. She is receptive to questions and more than knowledgeable enough to answer any you can think of. Really couldn't have asked for a better trainer and a better outcome.

Hedda is extremely patient and does a great job catering to individual needs. When I had a back injury, she completely tailored out session that day to ensure that I did not injure it further while still feeling like I got a full workout in.
